Hi everyone, I'm a newbie and would like to say hello to everyone. I also am hoping for some help. I've replaced the conductor plate and the solenoids in my 722.6 transmission and also the adapter plug and I've cleaned the tcu and cables up. There was just a little fluid not a lot. The car still is in limp mode and I've run out of solutions, am I missing a step? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

Did you clear the gearbox fault codes before restarting the car Charles?

Also, did you check the ATF level afterwards with a dipstick with the correct fluid temperature at (80C IIRC?)
The transmission is very reliant on the ATF being at the correct level.

So, here is my update so far. I went to local mechanic that has a snap-on Solus and they cleared the codes. The car was out of limp mode and driving fine for about 15 minutes then went into limp mode. I drove home and turned it off for 10 minutes turned it off and bang it's out of limp mode!! OMG! I'm at a loss for words.....what's up?

Read the diagnostic codes to troubleshoot your problem!
Also, as AMGeed said, make sure the ATF level is correct.

If the oil has wicked into the wiring harness the connectors and TCU they will need cleaning several times.

Hey, everyone! Here is an update. Still in limp mode after following everyone's advice. I have one fault now and it is P2105 Component Y3/Y4(3-4 shift solenoid valve) has a short circuit to ground. I have no idea what to do now.
