2002 E320 cdi autobox slip

Hi all,

I my 2002 E class has recently devoloped a delay when changing up from 3rd to 4th gear, It only happens when the engine is is warm. The revs rise before it changes 4th gear.

I changed the A.T.F today hoping this would cure the problem, but its still the same.

I read that there are some pressure regulator valve springs behind a plate on the side of the gearbox but I am not sure if they are fitted on my model year?

has anybody any ideas what the shifting problem could be?

HAve any fault codes read. It may be the electroplate heading south, may be not much...
