2003 CLK500 Speedo

The analogue speedo on my low mileage 03 clk has stopped working. The didital speedo still works as does the mileometer.
Any ideas or is it going to cost me a fortune?

I think that the fault must be within the cluster as the others are working,,give it a few sharp taps to see if it comes back on again
