What sort of consumption could you expect from a 2003 ML350 Auto with 82k?

Is the 2003 better built than older ones?

24mpg top whack I would say average and 28-30 on a run

Get 20 mpg out of mine, no towns or mways. I feel good balance of power and economy and doesn't sound like a tractor. Build quality not up to normal MB standards but OK i feel considering how cheap you can find them.
