Now i really wish Malc had been correct!!

Well that was the first pump that has gone on here,, not seen that elsewhere either,,so something that I can look forward too

Thanks, I decided not to risk it and had it recovered to the local independent Mercedes specialist I use. Just spent half an hour looking at it with them,

We've fitted a few, mainly due to loss of pressure.

Hi Neil, we thought the leak was from the high pressure out pipe on the pump initially, so we changed the o rings, bled the system. Unfortunately we still had a leak, it turned out to be coming from the front seal, which is hidden by a tin cover, so pushing the oil out just above pressure pipe. unfortunately we had our hopes up that it was just o rings that were leaking.
