My folding mirror button (for out) seems to be working intermittently. The close button works at a touch as did the open button up until about a week ago. Steadily getting worse.

I thought about squirting it with electrical contact spray but think really the little panel would be better removed for access.

There again maybe I'm wasting my time and it just is?

Any ideas?

Its more likely to be a wire damaged through repeated opening and closing I would have thought. No harm is squirting the switch (just keep the spray away from the lacquered wood if you have any).

Cheers, no wood just black/silver dimpled metal fascia. If it gets that bad I'll just stop using them. I have noticed if I double press the 'open' button it closes. Unfortunately not so with the 'close' button.

One folding mirror makes a slight squelch as it closes and I wonder if this is normal or could it do with a little help somewhere?

We have folding mirrors on our 210 and I can only think of one place I've used them and thats on the ferries.
Normally I'd rather have the mirror out as a guide to others to keep clear as a mirror is cheaper to replace than a door skin.

I've resigned to just leaving them out for now. Depending on space I'll use it. I know they will come out eventually.
