Hello and welcome to the forum.

Do you have the correct size tyres on as the wheels and correct tyres should not change the height

The wheels shouldn't affect the suspension. Do you have airmatic? - I suspect something has gone a bit haywire with it.
At the end of the day, the worst new wheels could so is increase the distance from the centre of the hub to the road surfact and if they're the right wheels and tyres even that doesn't change.

no jberks its not airmatic,do you think 18" wheels are too big for an avantgarde without having airmatic, only thing i can think of is someone put elegance springs into back of mine or somthing coz front is fine

If the wheels were too big, they'd be fouling on the bodywork, rather than making the rear rise up.
Mine are 17" and sit quite snugly but you have 235/35 tyres rather than my 245/45's so the sidewall will be a lot thinner to compensate and your overall wheel/tyre height may even be smaller than mine by a mm or so.
Could you post a photo?

T212 facelift, 2013. A few toys including pan roof, 19" rims, Harmon Kardon, nappa, privacy glass.
Do you have a tow bar fitted ?? As on some cars this affects the rear suspension height.

Previously:- ML270, 3 x Vito Dualiners, SLC450
At MOT time, my BMW 328i was found to have a cracked rear spring (common fault).
The garage replaced both rear springs with pattern parts, but afterwards when I parked the car at home, it was evident that the back was sat about 40mm lower than previously (my hand wouldn't fit between the top of the wheel and wheelarch).
My point is: check if you have the correct springs fitted.
