Help,
I had a problem with the 3 wire ribbon cable that runs from I think heater control panel over towards the nearside of the car.bind the glove box. The cable has a the three wire ribbon looping through a plug up at the back of the glove box some where then comes back on itself and goes elsewhere. I discovered that there was some damage done to this when I was fitting a bluetooth carkit and in order to effect repairs I pulled the ribbon cable down to gain some slack but the plug has come out and I cannot find where it goes. I require to remove the glove box to allow better access to find where the plug goes back to.

Can anyone give me instructions / diagrams on how to remove the glove box and also explain what the use of this plug is as the heating / aircon appears to be working. Prior to this after the cable was damaged the side vents were pumping out gallons of hot air and control panel did not seem to be able to stop this but as I said all seems to be okay now.

Many Thanks

The ribbon loom that is damaged is the loom for the AAC system. It connects all the motors on the heater box via can bus so will need to replace the loom you will not be able to repair strip. so you will need to remove the dashboard
