2005 clk rear light up-grade

Hi folks, require help, am trying to up-grade my 2005 clk with clear centres in my rear lights, from a 2007 clk, fits just right looks great, problem is when lights on rear bottom side lights not working, all others fine, top tail-brake-indicators-reversing lights all good, the new bulb holder was slightly different setup and wiring plug went in just right, Please help !!!
