2005 ML COMAND query

after a lot of faffing around I have now bought a nice 05 270 ML with COMAND - no CD changer though, suppose I need this to use sat nav at same time as play music do I, I initially thought the nav info was held on an internal drive :???: also would like to enable the TV / DVD option - anyone dabbled with this ??

You can add a CD changer but no one should enable DVD as its against the law and dangerous it you have no TV fitted then you cant have TV

Thanks for that - am I resricted to an MB changer or do I have options, does this mean I can have sat nav + CD playing simultaneously ??
also what is involved with adding TV tuner to comand setup ??

If you're going for a CD mulit-changer I'd definitely go for the original M-B changer so it integrates perfectly with COMAND/MFSW controls etc.

No problem then playing CDs and using nav at the same time.

I went instead for the iPod kit which was significantly cheaper and means no more CDs clogging up the car. This fully integrates with the MB dash display (not the COMAND display unfortunately) and the MFSW controls. Can get one slightly cheaper here, and they claim takes under an hour to fit.

Comand CD changer

appreciate the headsup on the IPOD setup - before I decide can anyone tell me the costs involved with fitting the CD changer and do I have to buy from MB direct ??
