2006 c350 v6 sport edition
Hi all
I have a 06 c350 silver sport edition sedan with 132000 miles
I have reluctantly decided it needs to go for a more family practical car

The problem I need help with is it’s value, I haven’t got a clue what it’s worth
Over the last 3 years of ownership I have spent many hours researching the great www and there’s little to say about them.

It’s a great car and a lot of fun to drive.....if you don’t look at the mpg lol.
It’s not perfect and anyone that owns a Mercedes knows this.

I will miss it when it goes, but knowing how much I should let it go for is my struggle and I a hoping you lot on here can guide me in some way.

many thanks

Hello and welcome,

Autotrader is a good check - although what owners ask for them isn't necessarily what they get for them.
I'd also get a "valuation" from WBAC so you know what the bottom price is.

Hi and welcome to the forum. You call it a Sedan, does this mean you are not UK based ? :)

If you look at this one and make a mileage adjustment it looks like it could be worth anything between £2,750 and £3,250. the key thing would obviously be the condition of the car. It will also depend on where and how you intend to sell it. So many variables, obviously a private sale would be your best route to achieve the best result :)

Sorry buddy , I meant member @Conor

Hehe not an estate, just throwing around the possibility of a new engine. I'm back on the fence and wondering should I just drive the car into the ground. I'm waiting to see what the emissions are like at next MOT before giving it further thought.

Haha I guess, reading that back it was fairly cryptic alright.

The crux of it is that the emissions hadn't changed in the past two MOTs. And people say by burning loads of oil, i'll kill the cats, which is my main concern.

As long as the emissions stay the same, I say the cats are doing ok.. and I can continue as it.
