SL350 (R230) 2006
I realise this is long shot (age of car etc.)..............but I have surprised myself and got amazingly close to success - so wondered if anyone had made the final step in this technological minefield.

Merc Comand Unit s.jpg

The screen shows that the Comand unit can see my phone but my phone can't see it.

I have managed to actually connect both devices but it only last a couple of seconds and then the phone disconnects.

The Comand unit asks for a code and I have tried 0000 and other 5 digit numbers - then phone then asks and I type in the same number but only get momentary success.

Any one actually managed to do this permanently - if so how please ??

Looked through my old posts this may help:

Follow up on getting the R230 paired with the iPhone 11. Press the puch under armrest to get it flashing manically, Switch the Bluetooth on the phone,
it may not pick up straight away so disconnect phone bluetooth and start again pressing the Puch and connecting Bluetooth on the phone.
If the connection is made to your phone, your phone will ask for a authorisation code. 62872 is the number i put in and paired as instructed by the phone
It worked for this December 2006 R230, each command system will differ by system and age i suspect, My W221 was different.
