Sorry this is my first post but im kinda desperate just now ... I have a 2007 mercedes sprinter 311 cdi 2.1 lwb . I bought the van 2 months ago and have been converting it to a motor home . It had a new block and recon head with reciepts here . So it started losing coolant when left overnight and i noticed the pipe going to thermostat was collapsed a bit .. its got worse now and what was a small leak is a big leak . The garage put steel seal in it to tide me over yesterday but its not worked and there is white ish colouration on the engine where its been spraying out . The leak is obviously on the nearside (left) and seems to be near the fuel filter so what is in that area that carries water that may be spraying it out when driven hard as i cant see anything obvious as there aint much room to see .. Im hoping its not the head gasket thats away . Van starts great and runs great without issue and if i losen the cap on the bottle it doesn't lose as much . Any help or advice would be much appreciated.
