This week I've had the bodywork of my car refurbished, smart repairs, machine polished etc. and they replaced the damaged top interior trim on the drivers door - overall its been a very good job.
However I've noticed that the drivers door window functions correctly except when its going up - when I release the switch at that point the glass stops moving. Previously (and with the other three windows) once the window is going up and the switch is released, the glass continues to close fully (unless its obstructed in some way).
Any ideas about what this could be? My thoughts are that a wire may have been disconnected when the door panel was removed.
I also would appreciate some information about how to remove the drivers interior door panel damage free (assuming it will need to come off).
Many thanks for your help on this.
