2008 S204 C220 Windscreen Side Trims (Water Deflectors)

Both the black trims either side of the windscreen on our main car, the lacquer had given up the ghost quite badly - and SWMBO (whose car it theoretically is) had noticed and is "complaining" about it.

I'm of the opinion that these trims are clip-outs and only extend roughly to the top of the screen, but the only YouTube video I've watched shows them extending to the tailgate! On MBWorld I found part numbers A204690 7782 left and A2046907882 right, but I've tried a parts site, it does not recognise my VIN or those part numbers!

First off, am I correct that they only go to the top of the screen, are clip-outs and easily replaceable?

Second off, what is the correct part number I need to ask MB for a price?

TIA for any help, I need SWMBO off the case on this!

Those Wind Deflectors just clip in with small metal clips. There are probably three on front window and two on the rear’s. Just pull the Wind deflector’s off and get the metal clips out with a pair of long nosed Pliers. All quite easy although the Deflectors do need a little persuasion. I have just binned mine because they are very noisy and didn’t seem to do much

@DREAMER NO2 many thanks for the link, took some ferreting before I finally found the parts under Panelling and Lining, Outside Attachment Parts, the deflectors are A2046907362 left A2046907462 right.
