Hi

I have just bought a 2011 E350 and was wondering if it is possible to upgrade the media center to be able to play music from your phone, I have got the Bluetooth working for calls but no way to play music, if it is not possible to play music by Bluetooth then I need to buy a Aux lead for android as the one in the glovebox only has an Apple connector on it, anyone know where they are available and what they are called with the merc connection on, just a lead with the merc connector and a USB on the other end would be better.

Also is it possible to put a better Sat Nav in ?

Maybe it would be possible to put an android head unit in, which would solve both problems ?

Any advice would be welcome, any other tips about the car also welcome as it is the first one I have owned, I look forward to your replies and thoughts

Hi and welcome, the cheapest option I ever found was to buy an Amazon alexa auto. There is some CarPlay stuff you can do but will cost couple 100. The Alexa is about £30. You car should have a aux and 12v plug in the glove box which means it can be hidden.
