Hi all

I am looking to exploit a little more V8 rumble from my W216 CL500 4.7 BiTurbo. I don’t want it to sound ridiculous or be too intrusive in the cabin, but some more noise would be great.

Also, is it possible to fit the CL63 quad exhaust tips to the CL500 or something similar?

Any suggestions and/or experiences would be great.

Many thanks all.

Tips obviously won’t make much noise but a cheap option would be a map?
Where are you based we can recommend a decent map company in your area

The above is the simplest first step and recommended.

Only really noticable when you press the loud pedal a little bit, and is not noticeable on tick over or when 'pootling' about.
No drone on the motorway either

Have done it on my last 3 V6s (inc current one) but I haven't on my V8 - I like the sound of the valved AMG exhaust as standard

Thanks very much for your reply.

I already have a Race Tune Box waiting to go on the car, so I'm good for a remap thanks.

The additional noise is just to awake my V8 a little more without it sounding like something from Days of Thunder!

The AMG tailpipes were for nothing more than aesthetics, I just like the look of them.

Cheers.
