I’ve been trying to figure out how to fold down the back seats but I can’t find any catches anywhere to release them and when I look in the boot it looks as though the seats don’t go down at all ? Everything is solid the boot carpet goes all the way around and doesn’t look as if the seats go down .. surely I don’t have to remove the whole carpet part that goes around the whole boot ? Anyone have the same car ?

MB out the fuel tank behind the seats on “E”’s so no folding seats (unless it’s an estate)

So all w212 excluding estates you can’t put the back seats down at all ??

I guess that's so.

Although funnily enough, my CLS (C218) runs on a w212 platform and has split folding rear seats???
I read that it’s an extra option and many don’t have ..
