2013 c220cdi thermostat

Does anyone have a guide for changing the thermostat on a 2013 c220cdi please? Few videos on YouTube but seem to be for an early metal housing. Mines a plastic thermostat with sensor built in like this one.

Having issues with the car taking 20miles to heat up and randomly cools down on a motorway.

Cant think it will be difficult provided you know where the stat is.
Disconnect associated gubbins. Have a pot handy to safely collects spills (also if you intend on re using the coolant).
Remove and replace stat in correct direction.
Put it all back together.

I was wondering if there was any special requirements for bleeding the system afterwards.

Self bleeding if I recall. just keep an eye on the level once it burps.
If you put in what you take out it should not be an issue!
