- 2003 Mercedes S320 W220
Hello all,
I am struggling with these 4 fault codes on my 2013 S350 CDi.
I am having a nightmare with this car that has took me a year to date to try and get repaired.
I bought the car as a none runner, Dronsfields got it running, a wiring issue it turned out.
Then it was noticed it had a weld mark on the DPF that made it look like it had been gutted and was advised to delete the Adblue system, the garage then had the adblue system deleted.
It turns out the dpf hadn’t been gutted, so I have a standard map put back on the car. After a 30 minute drive the car is hunting around 1500rpm when on the move.
I park up after the drive and the car is smoking and making my eyes burn from the fumes!
I park her up and fit a new DPF from Cat man in Southampton, low and behold the car I start the car and the engine is knocking.Turns out from cyclinder no6 due to fuel contamination.
I have the engine fixed, injectors tested so and called ok, which I find strange.
Weeks pass by, I decided I want to make sure the DPF system is working by a Mercedes specialist. Turns out it isn’t, a new Adblue heater (now fixed), Adblue tank pump (Now haspressure in the tank) dpf pressure sensor as I was advised it needed one and lastly a new Y pipe off ebay as the flexi pipe had a split in it.
Now, sadly the Mercedes specialist doesn’t want to spend any more time on the car. To which I am a bit annoyed about.
I am getting the following messages on my Autel.
Currently I am getting a surging sensation around 1500rpm, out of this rev range it seems fine but will eventually go into limp mode.
Any advice would be appreciated?
I am in Cheshire and hoping to find a decent specialist that knows the W221 well.
Thanks all,
Matthew Waite
