2016 c300h malfunction

Hi i have a c300 hybrid amg displaying the following message anybody ever dealt with this?

Book says stop start system apparently
Battery showing 11.9 volt on dash with ignition on and engine not running

Radiator fan is also on full

Aux battery is goosed with that voltage ignition on...should ideally be near 14v

Could be a good thing to start with the fan is however worrying as the water pipes to engine dont even feel hot

Battery was 14 something when running

If fear it’s never going to be that simple with “h” in the model designation but I hope I’m wrong

Apologies missed the bit with engine not running , maybe psychologically I was avoiding the hybrid issues ....brrrrr

Have read many posts some saying 12v aux battery
Some say starter motor for elec/diesel switchover


Mb specialist tomorrow i think

I received the same warning the day I collected my 2015 C300h in July. Seemed to correspond with the electric drive not working. Luckily I'd bought from a respected (non MB) dealer so they took it straight back under warranty. After several weeks of toing and froing it finally boiled down to the main battery needing replacing. The dealer had ticked off this potential fix but had used a non MB battery so the fault kept recurring as the spurious battery didn't have the capacity to run everything including e drive so that's what suffered. Luckily for ke they disregarded this once they stuck in the cheap battery and kept looking so I got a new aux water pump plus a few other bits and pieces as they kept looking for the fix! It was a merc service centre that finally twigged the battery issue and all is well now. Hope you got sorted too
