2017 GLC Android Auto

GLC 350D AMG line Premium Plus
I have just purchased a March 2017 GLC 350D Premium+. Lovely car but it does not support Android Auto or Car Play but other models do. This is somewaht frustrating. Internet searches seem to indicate its not possible to retrofit.

My question is does anyone know if it will ever be supported on a 2017 GLC?
