2018 CLA Shooting Brake 200d Noise When Accelerating

Hi All,

I recently purchased a 2018 CLA Shooting Brake 200d has 30k miles on it and iv just noticed that when I accelerate more than normal such as putting my foot down to the floor or maybe 75% the car makes a noise similar to that of having a small hole in the exhaust but if I dont accelerate so much and just drive with a slower accelerating it doesn't make the noise.

Has anyone had this before? literally the car is silent unless you try to accelerate with your foot down more than 75% id say.

Any info/help would be great.

how recent ?? sounds like a pipe isn't sealing , possibly intake pipe not secured after a service ?

Iv had the car like 5 days purchased from Merc garage themselves, only noticed it probably last few days but iv never really put my foot down until then

ok take it back , consumers act 2015 covers you for any fault in the first 3 months
