2019 C220 D

Hi All,

just purchased my fist MB (previously a VW head)

I bought a 2019 C 220 D Sport Premium in silver with 17 inche alloys. Absolutely love it so far.

Has anyone done any nice mods to this model of car? I may change grill to a diamond front grill like the AMG line has and I may also put a light tint on back windows.

I am half thinking the 17s looks too small for the car and 18s would suit better. Anyone done this ? I don’t think the ride would be affected too much.

Anyone done anything nice to their C 220?

Do you want comfort whilst driving or just to sit and look at it? With the roads we “enjoy” the smaller the rims the better.

Hello and welcome. 18in wheels will have some effect on the ride but it depends how much you will accept for appearances.

I'd stick with the 17's, we have 18's on the SLK with stiffer suspension and it like riding on a trolley

The only mods that really suit a merc are factory options. The rest generally make the car look boy-racer esque unless done to a high standard.

Hi and welcome to the forum I have 19's on mine, which were on the car when I bought it, and for me I like the ride, I do not like the squishy ride that soft suspension and fat tyres give unlike many people on here, they make me feel a bit queezy. The only issue with them is having to dodge even quite small pot holes
