I have a C270cdi which keeps 'dropping' its radio signal. It's only for a second or so & your immediate reaction is that a traffic report is about to kick in,but then it just picks up where it left off.It never seems to do when the car is stationary though.
Any ideas appreciated.

Save me a bit of time please as I'm up to my neck in work at the moment.
Which side please and by C pillar do you mean the one behind the rear door or next to the tailgate,'cos I forgot to say that it's an estate!!

Thanks for that.
Would I be correct to assume that it's the same set up if the aerial is part of the side window?

I would have said the the fault was more a poor connection, do not move the wires from the window connections to much as they are known to be weak. I would put the radio on and give the associated parts a bang with a screwdriver handle.

More 203 aerial amps go faulty then any other car
