208 209 what is my car?

I need a sat Nav disk for my brilliant clk500 03 but i keep being asked for the disk number or w208 w209. I'm new to Merc's and have no idea what people are on about.

If anyone can advise that would be great.

The car is a W209.
The 500 engine was only available in W209 CLK's.

I would have said as a 2003 it's a 209, based upon this:

The type you require is made by Teleatlas and it is known as the DX type for your car

The 3rd 4th and 5th character of your VIN gives you the model, so yes, it's a 209 but being a coupe it would be prefixed by C not W.

So C209

with TMC ? yes, I had that in my 2009 dx so should still be there

I had heard that the TMC is no longer available, it was on the 09/10 and I have that, just looked at the correct disc and I cannot see the TMC emblem
