208 Chassis CLK 320 Fuel Supply Probs

Currently looking at 1999 CLK230, not fuelling. If apply 12V to the pump, car okay, supply relay okay. Has anyone had similar problems or know if a fuel shut off switch fitted (eg inertia switch)?
