210 A/C problem - any specialists in Bedfordshire

I’m having a long running problem with my A/C on my 210 320CDI Estate. The system has lost pressure several times over the last year or so. My garage has been unable to trace any leaks despite filling the system with dye etc. The system usually runs fine for several weeks/months and then fails with no/low gas. It has been in recently for a check and is apparently showing 14 Bar pressure with no sign of any leaks.
However, when I switch the A/C on, I can hear the tell-tale scraping sound that usually indicates low refrigerant level. More worryingly, I can also hear a droning noise that I assume is coming from the pump. Oh! ..and there is virtually no cold air In addition, what little cold air that does exist is all on the passenger side with the driver vents blowing significantly warmer. I did a rudimentary check on the duo-valve (both valves appear free and coils approx. 16 Ohms.) but am now far out of my depth
Does anyone have any bright suggestions or can you recommend a good A/C specialist that that can look at this for me. I am based in Bedfordshire but am happy to travel to Bucks/Herts/Oxon to finally get to the bottom of this.

It would seem to be a leak on the high side - condenser which sits in front of the radiator. Give Phil a call at Herts Merx, find him under Hertfordshire Merx in the Community menu.
