to get to the rear fog lights to change bulbs, is it just a case of un-doing the two bolts that are visible? or are there any other fixings?

many thanks on advance

i would have thought there would be a flap or trim that opened in the tailgate trim and you just access them through the openings. the bolts will hold the entire lamp to the tailgate. thats the norm for most cars. mines a saloon and although the trims are missing it seems, thats how they are accessed on my car.

Hi

From the owners manual... "We recommend that you have the bulbs of the reversing lamp and rear foglamp changed by a Mercedes-Benz Service Station"

I will have a look and see what is involved

cant really see what would be different about the estate compared to the saloon! as long as the right bulbs are installed so that the warning light goes out on the dash, their nothing special as far as im aware!

Hi

You need to remove the interior trim which is pops along the bottom and up the sides, screw at the pull handle remove handle trim and then the whole trim lifts up. Once inside i think there must be an aperature to get at the bulbs, if not undo the 4 nuts to pop the light out.

Hope this helps.

as i expected. accessing them may be different to the saloon, but nothing special about changing the bulbs
