Hi All,
Long time lurker on here. I'm hoping a generous and kind member here with WIS would be able to share the relevant pages for removing the rear seat back cushion. Car is a 2014 CLS350 diesel coupe, facelift, without the optional split-folding seats. I have found how to remove the rear seat bases (easy), and doing so reveals a couple of bolts fixing the seat back to the chassis. But I believe there may be more affixing the seat back to the horizontal structural beam astern of the seat at shoulder level, accessed via the boot area, and maybe another behind the central armrest in the cabin. Thanks in anticipation.

I think you'll find you have to remove the centre console to access the inner seat bolts. It should be a case of then lifting the seat back off 2 brackets on the rear bulkhead.

Thanks, not a 5 minute job then.

Should be, if it's the same as the CL. If the centre console is the same, be careful. Some try to prize out the plastic locating stubs - don't touch them. Use a plastic trim tool with a 45 degree bend and insert it between the floor and the console and gently pull out to disengage the console side from the stubs. Then pull up the console vertically - it's on a short track bracket. You may have to drop the armrest between the seat back for clearance. 5 minute job.
