My wife has a 2002 C-Class 220 CDI.

I have noticed that the glow plugs light has come on (2 of the 4 need changing) so I have arranged for them all to be changed and the mechanic informed me that one of the injectors is leaking and therefore needs to be changed (No2). The work is scheduled to be done next week.

I have also noticed that the car has lost some power. On a recent motorway journey it would not go above 85.

Would this problem be rectified once the glow plugs and the No2 injector is changed or could it be something else.

In addition, the car has done 97,000 miles, so should I change all the injectors?

Taking the car on holiday soon so would like it to be in A1 condition.

I would approciate your comments.
