Hi Everyone

Between last night and this morning I did a 400 mile trip along the motorways. On the way to my destination I was doing an average of 80-90 for the best part on the motorway. (sometimes a little bit more cos I was taken in with the flow of traffic) Towards the end of my journey I started to lose some power. A few times when I tried to accelerate the car was 'spluttering', then was ok again. After a few hours I nipped back out and pushed it again to see how it was. Again it was fine then later spluttering again. As fuel was now quite low I thought there may have been 'gunk' coming up so I filled up. However, driving back home today all was well for the first hour and half, but later when I tried to accelerate from a roundabout the car didn't want to know. The rest of the way home it was fine again. Any idea's what this may be please?:(
