230te 1982 spare wheel cover restraining strap

Hi

The rubber strap which bolts into the base of the left rear window and clips onto the top of the spare wheel cover has finally given way. too much sun. Any ideas as to where I might find another? I don't mind where in the world one is as it would just be a matter of putting it in an enevelope if I found one. I am in New Zealand.

sounds like just the sort of part they'd have lying around and sell for very little
