Top down driving weather on its way can’t wait , but rear view mirror has come unglued fallen off the windscreen and main dealer says it cannot be reglued and I have to have a new windscreen. Seems stupid whole new windscreen circa £500 , any other solutions?

Ask a windscreen replacement firm
I am sure they don't come from the glaziers with the deck attached

Oh, and change garage

Just make sure all surfaces are totally spotless (wipe with Isopropyl alcohol if possible)
