Hi,

Does anyone have the diagrams on how to change the chain tensioner? Is it easy and is there anything I should watch out for, special tools etc.

I read in Haynes that it must be primed with oil before refitting and it recommends using a hydraulic press. Is this correct?

Many thanks

Phil

I primed the tensioner by hand when I changed mine. Get yourself a suitable container - I used a cut down washing up liquid bottle - and fill it with engine oil so you can immerse the tensioner and push down on it to compress it until you feel the change in resistance.
