Hi all,
I've had good old trawl through the pages, to save everyone some typing, and the nearest match to my query is a thread by flappy in October and November, which doesn't look like it was resolved with a final solution.
It's given me some good starting points, but I've a feeling my problem could be caused by a split seal on the Air mass intake. Changing the plugs, HT leads and Dist cap only made the tick-over sit at 2000 rpm. Not sexy in a traffic jam. I have to race the XR2s off the lights. Any comments/ observations?
I guess the alarm will have to wait.
