Hi all . No matter what i do i can't get air to blow on to the windscreen even with the de-mist button .Any ideas people?

Hi I have a ML 270 I don't understand you when you say "de-mist button"

All I do is turn the round knob/dial, that's the right one of three centre dash board to point at twelve a clock. then shut of the top centre dash vents by turning the two thumb wheels towards you, then set blower to full blast
