Hi All
I purchased both rear wing mouldins Part No MA115 690 04 80 for the above vehicle from MB. They fit precisely, however the mouldins aesthetically are totally different from those that are insitu.
I have spoken to the MB Classics division and they assured me that the part supplied has always been accredited to that model.
The existing mouldins have a complete chrome facia with a rubber gasket on the underside.
The MB mouldins are also chrome; however the gasket extends around the bottom of the moulding curving round into the middle of facia, reducing the visible amount of chrome present.
I would be most appreciative if anyone who has a 280CE coupe if they could reply to this post with the type of mouldins present on their vehicle before I go spending another £300 on trim.
Thanks
