280SL Auto 1985. Engine cuts out occassionally when idling

Hello -
Had this looked at by a MB specialist garage. Problem still occuring even after fuel/air mixture adjusted by garage. Any ideas ?
Exhaust leaking from Y piece in manifold as well but presume this is not related.
