Well there's surely an interesting idea. A Sunday morning meet up once a month. Any takers?

That’s pretty much what we’ve been doing...

I'll throw this place into the "Mix".....

The Gaff Rigger in Hamble. I've been there a few times and is now under new management and seem to be getting it right.

It has a very large Car Park so we should be able to park together. It has a nice Upstairs Bar and separate Restaurant with big windows overlooking the River and Marina - The do a Carvery on Sundays as well as the standard Menu. There is also a upstairs Terrace with Tables and Chairs as well as the same downstairs in front of the Restaurant. They do Food all day and it is a very place to be.

Anyway, it's just a possibility for now. The Restaurant is not indicated on the Map but it is the long building where it says "Mercury Yacht Harbour".

Its just been on a Saturday in the evening !!!!!!

So instead of church, we can confess our sins before speeding off home.

The food was good as was the pint.

The only down side for me was that I acquired a long scratch along the side of my car from a “sticky out thing” in the verge of the skinny road leading to it.

Nice place, busy on a Sunday though. I’d go back again.

I won't object to somewhere closer to Poole like Fordingbridge. The Fighting Cocks looks a nice spot too.

Don't have to come that far west for the Southampton/Portsmouth drivers.
Fordingbridge (Hants) is around a halfway point for Poole and Southampton.
Still a long way from your abode though Russ.

Sorry I missed this one! I’ve been traveling around Vietnam and Hong Kong! When will the next one been up for? The SL is currently in for rust repair and some general touching up, so I may have to bring my W204!

Prices garage in Newport (Isle of Wight) are charging me £250 for the rust on both rear arches (it’s not bad but I thought I would get it done sooner rather than later) and repairing rear bumper and rear arch area where someone left a lovely mark/dent while in a car park including painting for £1k (fortunately, the guy who made the car parking Mark is paying for it through his insurance!)
