2nd annoying rattle

My low mileage 2005 CLK 270cdi Elegance has developed it’s 2nd rattle. First was on passenger door and solved after a search on this forum. Removal of some of the bungs on door underside revealed a nut that had loosened.

This new noise is coming from the drivers door (I have an LHD), and is a tinny vibration that seems to come from top left corner (looking from inside) of door.

Do pretty much all my own maintenance on cars and bikes, but having looked at a couple of videos am loathe to remove interior door trim.

Any thoughts or suggestions please?

Hello

My interpretation of 49 views and no reply is that I have an isolated incident, or no-one has tackled the door trim. I will try and find an independent specialist or might consider a top end body shop.

I’d take the door card off, just get some decent trim tools and probably some spare plastic clips that way you can see what’s going on inside.

Blobcat, thanks for taking time to reply. I do have a reasonable selection of trim tools and have done this job on different cars in the past. However, when I looked at a couple of videos showing people tackling the job on a CLK it doesn't look nice at all. In particular I am worried about damaging the wood trim.
