Any suggestions? I've recently had my wife's A Class 170 diesel serviced and it has taken longer to start ever since. Now after a week when left overnight or when it is stone cold it takes forever to fire up.Charge is OK and the motor is spinning fine. After a decent run it starts like it used to. Could it be something to do with them changing the fuel filter and cocking something up? A fuel supply problem seems to be the only thing that makes any sense.

By the way how easy is it to fit a crankshaft sensor to a 430? I can't see it from the top.

Your best bet is to take it back to the garage who serviced it. It could be the fuel filter but they should check it out for you as it has only developed this fault since you had it services. It could be a dodgy Intector!!! but I may be wrong
