Looks like this doesn't fit the face lift W204.

You need to check which paddles you have, there are ones that do fit the facelift

Where are the Billet aluminium paddle shifters from?
Got them from eBay, £15.99 trader called fzeroinestore, I wanted the silver one's not the black, make sure you get the correct ones as depending on the model/year the top of the paddles are flat or angled, mine are flat.

I like the shift paddles and the door courtesy lights, but have some reservations about brightness of the footwell lights?

I wired mine to be permanently on, they are blue, and not bright at all. They also match the power socket light; drink holder light and door handles and pull recesses lights, although the latter two are only on, when the instrument illumination signal (58d) is transmitted by SAM.

PS Now you need illuminated door sills ;)

Footwell lights only come on when door opens, not on all the time.

Ah, I see - I thought they normally on when all other ambient lights are on, at least that's what it was in X204.

In my C169 I didn't have that option, and was too lazy to look up the actuation on WIS, so made them permanently on :)

Like the lights but sorry not a fan of the paddles, just too big in my mind

I must say, I would never fit paddles, as I know I'll never ever use them, so look at them purely from aesthetic point of view - there are plenty of OEM ones on sports models, that look the same (i.e. big), and the metal finish on these seem to match the other bits on the steering wheel.

Practicality-wise, I'm sure they would get in the way of my handling the steering wheel - there's a reason I wanted a super-fat thumb pads on mine:

In my 520 I used to tap them in time with the music, not enough to change gear just to keep the beat... I did use them in the E220 but only to get it into 9th faster than the autobox.

Steve, i got them off eBay,
£6.49 from a trader called super-beste, the one's i
got are number 15, but they've got others. Fitting is super simple, gently prize the old lights out, i used a small screwdriver, unplug the light's, plug in the new lights, put the new lights back in place until it clicks.
Hey Presto job done! :D
