Hi Guys,

I've been cleaning and tinkering around the engine of my TD300 and noticed the little pipe that heads from the engine block to the turbo pipe, is leaking oil at the block.

Is there a gromit the needs replace or is it something more serious. The pipe is loose at the block too.

Thanks

Gary

If so, you'll find the leak is very likely oil vapours. There is an oil separator under the black engine cover, there are a few connections, on mine one of the pipes had split. I just used self-amalgamating tape to fix it.

The pipe is supposed to be loose enough to pull out, but not loose so it rattles around.

The OP means the turbo drain back to the sump. It shouldn't be lose, just tighten it up and replace the gasket if necessary.
