Hi can anybody help me,
I have a 1987 300 TE estate with a w124 090 engine, the engine will not start,i have checked to see if i have a spark and there is a spark,i then checked the fuel and the fuel is being delivered to the injectors but there does not seem to be much pressure when the car is cranking,it just dribbles out of the injector fuel pipe ,any Help or ideas would be appricated.
Thanks Reg :

either a weak fuel pump, blocked distributor head, crushed fuel line, blocked fuel filter or fuel pump relay. I could be wrong

Just to add to Ians thread, on the 300 you have 2 fuel pumps and one filter all driven from the fuel pump relay. to check the pump is not so easy when the car does not start and the only way would be to disconnect each one in turn at the output union and see what comes out, the wires onto the live feed on the pump can be disconnect for the one not being tested. A good way to clean them is to put diesel fuel into the pump exit and run them backwards by reversing the voltage, an amazing amount of crud should come out, take them off the car to do this. you will find them just to the rear of the off side wheel.

Put a new fuel filter in. Otherwise you'll burn out the pumps eventually.
