Does anyone know what the difference is between the 300CE-24 AMG and the standard 300CE-24? I realised that the AMG has the bodykit, but does it have uprated suspension and engine as well?
as i understand it the AMG version was LHD only (perhaps similar to the later 500E/E500 cars built in conjunction with porsche); they were distinguished by a body kit and a subtle spoiler built into the boot lid, as well as suspension/brakes uprating. there were also some cars that were bored out to 3.4 litres, though i am not sure if this was an AMG modification, specifically. there is a thread on one of these cars on an oz forum, see here: http://forum.mbspares.com.au/viewtopic.php?p=3851&sid=a95c28784155e0092c48d428828ece0e
