I know that some kind person posted a link to a drawing of the vacuum line arrangents for the auto box on the 300E. I can't for the love of money find it again, can anyone help?

I think I have a leak into the vac lines causing the gear change to thump, sound correct?

Thanks

300E isn't a diesel

So is it a late W124 multivalve "E 300 Diesel" (WDB1241912Fxxxyyy) or an early "300TD"?

As C220GJS says, harsh gearchanges on the E300 Diesel are caused by the vac pipe to the inlet manifold leaking or coming adrift. If the problem started after a service / some work the I suspect the latter
