hello i recently changed a head gasket on my 1990 300se and then went for a spin but after about five minutes, on the way home it failed power.
Now i may of put the coulant temperature sensor on the wrong way as there are no markings for which way round to put it( can anyone tell me which way to put it, there is one short pin on the sensor and the plug is marked up with 1,2,3 and 4, would the short pin go to pin 1 or 4 or whatever), if so would this cause the engine to flood or not? and also would it cause the power to fail? Now when i turn first turn the key everything seems fine except the fuel light is constantly on, and she wont start, she turns over but doesnt ignite could she just be flooded or have i damaged some electrics??
please help me im so sick of this!!!!
i just want to take my dog to the moors for a walk!!!!
