Can anyone please advise how the bodywork trims (3 each side) are held in place , these are the ones at knee height between the front and rear wheel arches and do any interior trims or panels need to be removed to access these..

I think yes is the answer,

as when I had the door cards off in summer to fit new window scrapers and seals, I could see some reasonably heavy duty fittings holding the rubbing strip on. I'm sure that will be repeated for the wings and rear quarters. After all these things are fairly hefty rubber, and won't hold on just with a flimsy plastic pop-stud thing. Give me a few days and I'll get into my cd thing and see if I can spot how it works. Or check the forest fine and SLS catalogues and see what their diagrams are like.

seems to show lots of fittings for the rubbing strip

the ones on doors have small screw at either end just inside door then slide moulding about an inch back or forward cant remember. the small ones on wings forget trying to take off without replacing, both have 6mm nuts at back the one on back wing is just inside wheelarch then again a wee slide back, same with front wing
