Hi, i am new to this site and dont see anyone having my problem. Basically first the door locks stopped working in unison unless operated by the tailgate lock. Then the front wipers stopped and the windows did too..BUT.. they came back on for awhile only to go again. Then seat stopped being able to be adjusted when the doors were shut! Now, if I open the door with ignition off i can adjust the seat back only, with ignition on etc and only when the door is open, I can use the windows and adjust the seat and when I shut the door the locks operate closed except drivers door where the lock remains open. Car is 92 model 300TE. I am wondering if I disconnect the battery and reconnect again will it get things back into sync?
Thanks

I didnt get any response to my plea for help but, just in case someone else gets the annoying problem. The fuses all looked okay visually but upon removal there was one with some corrosion and when cleaned up windows, wipers , seat all now working. Starnge with all the advice given on the site no-one offered any???

I guess no one had a clue what it might be.

Glad you resolved it though. Electrics can be odd sometimes, thats for sure. Happy motoring

I'm sorry you didn't get an answer, but to tell you the truth, I was a bit confused by your original question.

These pill fuses are sometimes coroded or cracked with age. There was another 2 problems with wipers & gauges on the weekend. And sure enough it was corroded fuses

You say you cleaned the fuse up.
My advice would be to replace it and all the rest of them with new ones.

Yep, replace all of the fuses now. It is noly a few pence and worth the effort. The other 10 min job that can savbe you trouble, is to buy a fibre brush from RS and clean all of the fuse contacts in the fuse box. Can also be used to clean the sockets for tailight/indicator bulbs, contacts on door switches for courtesy lights, vanity mirror lights etc.
